Evaluation
With each shot that we filmed it was very accurate and not a lot of editing was needed to make the film run smoothly.
With the first time we filmed we made the mistake of not turning on our microphone which meant that the whole film was ruined and editing would not have helped. This meant that we had to film everything all over again which also meant that we could fix anything that we didn't like at the start. This mistake helped a lot because it made our second film even better and the shots were also filmed more accurately. It also took us less time as we knew what we doing.
Overall, everything was filmed precisely and it didn't need a lot of editing. The only improvements that could have been made would be to make the film more fluid. Also continuity could have been improved.
The story of the preliminary task that my group produced included Kamie coming into a room to get a bag, from Ropa, full of something that she needs. We don't find out what's in the bag however. They have a serious conversation full of attitude from Kamie. However, to receive the bag from Ropa, she has to give an important code for a phone to Ropa. Ropa then explains that if the code is incorrect then she will be killed. We then see that Kamie gave the wrong code. The film ends with Kamie running down the corridor with the bag with a mischievous grin on her face.
In the film we were able to include many shots. At the start of the film we used match on action to show Kamie from walking through the door. It was easy to film however, it was a little difficult when editing because we had to try to make it look smooth. We also included an eye line match to show that Kamie was looking at the bag, this shows that this is what she wants. The shot reverse shot was also filmed to show that the two characters were having a conversation. It was filmed by being shot over each of their shoulders. We also didn't break the 180 rule which means that the characters look like they are still in the same positions.
